Movie Review: Red Riding Hood Posted on July 22, 2011March 8, 2021 By Dangerous Lee Whenever Gary Oldman is in a film, it’s sure to be a little bit odd. Red Riding Hood has unwanted arranged marriages, half-sibling incest, and women lying about their babies daddy mixed in with The Big Bad Wolf and Grandma. Catherine Hardwicke, the director of the Twilight Series is also the director of this film and Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the producers, but don’t let that give you the impression that it’s a great film. Red Riding Hood isn’t horrible and it isn’t great, it’s mediocre. We are led to believe that grandma is the Big Bad Wolf many times throughout the film, so it definitely keeps you guessing and surprised until the end, but don’t expect to be blown away. Dangerous Words Sylvester vs Serena Williams Posted on July 25, 2011August 31, 2018 While watching an episode of Unsung on TVOne that profiled the life of gay disco singer, Sylvester, one thing kept going through my mind: Serena Williams looks just like him, especially when he was younger! Dangerous Words Movie Review: Cowboys & Aliens Posted on August 1, 2011March 8, 2021 Cowboys & Aliens This film should have been titled Cowboys vs Aliens! It was okay, but not great. Much of it was predictable and silly, but it’s an entertaining film. There’s a dog that steals the show and receives the most screen time, so I was disappointed that it did… Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)MoreClick to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) Read More
