OOSA Online Book Club Reviews Keep Your Panties Up and Your Skirt Down Posted on July 21, 2010March 27, 2019 By Dangerous Lee Dangerous Lee’s “Keep Your Panties Up and Your Skirt Down” is a serious REAL TALK novel about sex millennium style! This is a very unusual novel that entails short tales about practicing safe sex. My favorite tale is ‘Safe Sex Kit,’ which involved two smart lovers and their incredible little sexual escapade. I found this novel very educational and is definitely a must read for all sexually active readers. I would have liked more facts about HIV/AIDS, true stories from HIV/AIDS infected people, and more graphic photographs about the importance of this disease. Overall, I still enjoyed the short stories and will continue to look for more from Dangerous Lee in the future. Dangerous Words Movie Review: Source Code Posted on August 16, 2011March 14, 2018 I didn’t expect to like this film because I had heard from a good friend that it sucked because it was the same thing happening over and over again. I’m glad I didn’t take their word for it. Source Code is about a soldier who wakes up in the body of… Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)MoreClick to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) Read More
Dangerous Words Movie Review: 30 Minutes or Less Posted on December 15, 2011March 14, 2018 It’s silly, it’s funny, it’s stupid! It’s exactly what you would expect from all the men featured in the movie poster, though the one with his thumb on the detonator kinda gets on my damn nerves. I literally LOL a few times and SMH as well. There’s really not much… Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)MoreClick to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) Read More
Dangerous Words Movie Review: Water For Elephants Posted on November 3, 2011March 26, 2019 This film stars Robert Pattinson of Twilight fame and Reese Witherspoon. I was happily surprised at how touching and great this movie was. I didn’t know what to expect, but I’d have to say it’s a combination of The Notebook, Titanic, and Michael Jackson’s Neverland all rolled into one! I… Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)MoreClick to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) Read More
Thanks so much for the review. Images and true stories about people living with HIV were not included because it was not that type of book. Those types of books however do exist, and HIV facts are laced throughout each story and more are listed at the back of the book along with HIV fiction and definitions.
