Sista Otis Loves Keep Your Panties Up and Your Skirt Down Posted on August 10, 2010March 28, 2022 By Dangerous Lee Sista Otis Got your book by my bed…meow!!! I like when you write from the male perspective, very believable and the characters are honest to the reader like we are their best pals they can tell anything to, love it!!! The new hit single from Sista Otis Charmed is out and you can download it NOW! The latest release from Sista Otis entitled “Charmed”, was birthed during a creative journey that spanned from New Orleans to Los Angeles after Upper Ninth Studios (New Orleans, LA) picked up singer/songwriter Sista Otis. “Charmed” was produced by Norwood Fisher (punk/funk pioneer) and Jimmy Sloan (Ben Harper, Blind Boys of Alabama, and Jack Johnson). “Charmed” borrows the talents of a wide range of musicians who incorporate the world of music that extends from rock ‘n roll and country to gospel and even gypsy-instrumentalist Jeff Ross. John McKnight (Ben Harper) plays guitar, mandolin, accordion, B-3, piano, whirlitzer, and trombone. Phillip “Fish” Fisher (Fishbone, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera) joins his brother Norwood (bass) creating a blood and soul mortar that lays down the foundation for this modern roots record. Eliza James (Alicia Keys, Harry Connick Jr, and Pink) adds the sophistication of a full string section with only her violin. Joey WIlliams (Blind Boys of Alabama) plays guitar and sings gospel background vocals- along with, Norman Fox (The Rob Roys), daughter Kim Fox (Dreamworks artist), and Angelo Moore (Fishbone).
