JGI is dedicated to motivating women to take action and stand against the negative connotations and opinions of others. JGI’s official launch party with be held Saturday, December 8 in Chicago at a location to be announced. Soon after deciding to improve her health after a life-threatening incident, Robinson began looking for fitness apparel that was comfortable, durable, and a consistent reminder that the pounds don’t define her. While searching for fun active wear she noticed the clothes for full-figured women were either really expensive or cheap quality. “JGI was born because the middle ground was not available and so there was my market,” Robinson said. When asked about the product line, Robinson said JGI will offer novelty plus size (L-4X) fitness apparel and accessories for the full-figured woman. “We’ll offer a full line of active wear that can be worn while working out, traveling or running everyday errands. JGI believes that looking stylish while exercising is a great way to soak up sweat and boost confidence,” she said.
