Do you know your partner’s HIV status? Do you know the HIV status of any sex partners you’ve had in the past? Do you know your partner’s sexual history? Do you know your partner’s true sexual orientation? If you’re sexually active, do you always insist on a condom? Do you still think of AIDS as a gay white male disease? Did you know that over 70% of newly diagnosed HIV positive women are Black? Do you know how to tell if your husband or boyfriend is on the down low? Do you take it for granted that you’re in a monogamous relationship? If your husband or boyfriend is cheating, has it occurred to you that his partner could be another man? If you’re married or in a committed relationship, do you feel you don’t have to worry about HIV/AIDS? Do you believe you can tell an HIV positive man just by looking at him? Did you know that as a Black woman, you’re in the highest risk category for HIV/AIDS? Are you aware that HIV/AIDS is the leading killer of Black women, ages 25-44?
