Popular Inspirational Sayings That Are Dead Wrong Posted on January 8, 2013April 12, 2018 By Dangerous Lee – Dreams don’t have an expiration date. They don’t? I’d say they definitely do get rotten, tho. If you don’t work towards your dream, it dies, and so does a little part of you! – Good things come to those who wait. Really? I don’t thinks so. No one ever had good things come to them just by sitting on their ass and waiting. How long have you been waiting? – It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. Is it? As if finding love again after you’ve lost it is an easy task. What’s so good about having found love, then losing it? I’ll wait. No, I won’t…losing love leaves a huge hole in your heart then you’ll go on trying to fill that void with things and people that aren’t good for you. I’d rather never have been in love. You can’t miss what you’ve never had! – You can’t have good without evil. This one really pisses me off because it justifies how shitty we are to each other. We should be more than capable of having most of our days filled with good without evil ever coming into the equation. What are we, stupid? The answer is unfortunately a resounding, yes! Of course there can be good without evil. We just aren’t ready for it. It’s silly ass sayings like this one that has most of us brainwashed to accept what feels like a constant flow of hardships as a definite precursor to this big happiness event that never sees the light of day. – It’s always darkest before dawn. Well…duh! Literally, before the sun starts to rise it is dark as hell! I know this one means that the hell you’re going through won’t last forever; much like the saying before this one, it’s also FOS (full of shit). It’s another saying that means to make us feel empowered while we’re in our own personal hell so that we can fight our way out of it. Whatever. Spare me! Where are all the inspirational sayings about when dawn arrives? Though I have just ripped these inspirational sayings apart, I do understand their purpose and in one way or another I have agreed with them at some point in my life to help me put a positive spin on negativity in my life. Can you think of any other inspirational sayings that are dead wrong? About Author Dangerous Lee administrator Content Creator and Everythang in Chief of Dangerous Lee Publishing. Dangerous Words Movie Review: Cowboys & Aliens Posted on August 1, 2011March 8, 2021 Cowboys & Aliens This film should have been titled Cowboys vs Aliens! It was okay, but not great. Much of it was predictable and silly, but it’s an entertaining film. There’s a dog that steals the show and receives the most screen time, so I was disappointed that it did… Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)MoreClick to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) Read More

Dangerous Words Movie Review: Paranormal Activity 3 Posted on February 10, 2012January 31, 2023 I give Paranormal Activity 3 two stars for the cool special effects and the creepy things that happened to the little girls. That’s it! This needs to be the last installment of this film because it has worn out its welcome. If they make a fourth, I am avoiding it… Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)MoreClick to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) Read More
I absolutely hate, “Money can’t buy you happiness.” This refrain was obviously made up by someone who had never missed a meal, or worked a hideous dehumanizing job that doesn’t even cover the bills. Or, perhaps it was made up by the “massa” while trying to keep the slaves under control. Money doesn’t guarantee happiness, but it sure helps.
That is a good one and I agree. Money may not buy happiness, but it sure pays for things, bills included, that can make like bearable.
i loved this very much .. you are very right and i wish you could have added more to the list . the thing about it is that who ever came up with this sayings , they were simply defining life basing on ones observation and experiences as they go around leaving their lives . but to assume and take to heart that it applies to all human kind is down right ambitions……and wrong….. good comes to those that wait, well well….. time will pass them by then……. also i think the mistake that we are making is really not understanding the meaning behind…this well manicured proverbs.. you have to do your part , be patient and persistence always trying to do better and acquiring wisdom .. this is what it simply means , but to just wait and hope for apples to fall from heaven……. well …haha…..
