Dear World,

Someone told me once that I love to help people because that’s what makes me happy. The selfish side of me disagreed with that because though I do love helping people, I love myself much more; so how could making others happy also make me happy? That was the wannabe badass, almost dumbass, so called “Dangerous” part of me that has The Great Wall of China around her heart. But, I realized that helping other people really is what makes me happy because helping other people provides me with much needed love and support in return.

What makes me happy is love, in all forms. The song, “What The World Needs Now”, comes to mind. You may think that’s corny, but that doesn’t make it any less truthful. When you think of our world in general terms does “love” come to mind? Words like hate, death, war, crime, sickness, and sadness are the words that come to me when I thuink of the state of the world and that’s pitiful.

My palm was read recently, and among other things it was stressed that I need to let go of my anger and love more. The reality is, I need you and you need me. We all need each other in this life, that’s why we are all here. We are all relevant and important, so we need to get our preverbeal shit together to create jobs where there are none, turn our passions into a steady income, support small businesses, and buy local so we can stop being the 99% struggling to make ends meet. I have a child, and I don’t want her to raise a family in a world any worse than this.

I love Michael Jackson, so this may also add a cornball factor to my words, but what the hell…”If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a change”, a change for the better. I have decided to get my preverbeal shit together to make a change. This change is The Dangerous Lee Experiment and my contribution to the 99%. We are not lazy or stupid.
