I had the pleasure of seeing Chris Tucker live at the beautiful FOX Theatre in Detroit last night. He was hilarious! Had tons of material and was entertaining as hell. The show, surprisingly, was not a sell out but if you weren’t in attendance you really missed out.
His was the second live stand up that I’ve seen at the FOX Theatre. The first wasMartin Lawrenceand he didn’t put on a good show at all. He even threw in some old ass jokes for the road. Just lazy.
This was not my first time seeing Chris Tucker live. When I was a youngster (and so was Chris) I saw him perform at a local club in Flint.
The show was cancelled during his performance because he got into a fight with a girl who was heckling him in the audience. I remember that leaving a bad taste in my mouth for him and his comedy over the years but somehow by the time the first Rush Hour came out he was back in my good graces.
I still can’t believe he fought a woman, tho. To be young, crazy, high and dumb…
Chris Tucker Re-tweeted Me! “Christmas Tucker” is in reference to a joke he tells about Michael Jackson giving him a new name. Too funny!!!
A: I never have, but that’s not to say that I never would. I think sex on the first date is okay as long as the people having sex are mature, honest, and have discussed what type of relationship they want to have after the initial sexcapade is over. So if I do have sex with someone on a first date that doesn’t mean that I would have sex on a first date with every man. Some people click sexually right off the bat, others do not. I also hope that before the first date that they have taken the time to get to know each other by having intimate conversations and spending time with each other casually.
In my opinion, the most important thing is that people are having safe sex. We are sexual beings and having sex is normal, contrary to some beliefs. However, there are many bad things that can come from good sex, such as, unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases like syphilis, gonorrhea, and HIV.
Q: When the snow melts, where does all the white go?
– Don Truesdell, Flint
A: This question is begging for a snarky answer and I will not disappoint. When snow melts the white goes water skiing, hiking, tanning and then white turns black and has cookouts, house parties, and shoots a lil’ hoop. It’s the colorful circle of life, my friend!
Q: My mum told me to bite anything that entered my mouth so why does my husband get so upset with me when I bite? I am only doing what I was told.
A: Everything we are told to do by our parents is not correct. Your husband is upset because biting hurts. Since you like to do what you’re told listen to your husband and stop biting him! Try sucking, licking, or softly kissing instead. As a grown married woman you should be able to make better decisions without what your momma told you growing up affecting you. I bet if your husband bit you back one good time you would get the point. I have a feeling that you secretly enjoy his pain. If that’s the case, carry on.
Q: Shaven, trimmed or natural? What do you think I should do with my pubic hair?
A: Honey, I don’t care what you do with your pubes. It’s a private issue and a private area, not a public one. However, in my opinion it’s always nice to trim it and keep it Chewbacca free. It’s also a good idea to make sure that area is not dry. Moisturize it and of course wash it as you would the hair on your head.
