The Dangerous Lee News and Entertainment Network features writers of original edgy and offbeat content in the areas of current events, pop culture, fashion, art, music, film, books, relationships, career, lifestyle, travel, and health (please see our full list of categories) in the format of articles or video. Becoming a featured contributor with us will help you build a fan base, increase your exposure, and you will also earn back-links. 

Submission Guidelines

The Dangerous Lee News & Entertainment Network accepts submissions from accomplished authors and new voices. Before sending your article, please familiarize yourself with the type of stories we publish. If you feel your submission would suit our editorial interests, please consider the following:

• CURRENT MOST WANTED: The Dangerous Lee News & Entertainment Network is looking to feature writers that create content catered to the following areas – Gay/Lesbian Culture, Black Culture, Pop Culture, Sexual Health, Teen, and Family.
  
• Conduct a search of DangerousLee.Biz, SimplySenia.com and PantiesUpSkirtDown.com to see if the content that you wish to contribute has already been published.
• We like new ideas with the potential to go viral. Tell us a story we haven’t heard from the mainstream press or find a way to put an original spin on a popular topic.
• We are a worldwide online magazine, but our main audience consists of African American and Caucasian women between the ages of 25-34. Stories focused on local references or people are not suitable for us unless they take place in Flint, Michigan.
• We have a very small in house editorial staff, so we cannot spend a long amount of time editing submissions. Please send us final drafts of your work.
• Length of submission should be between 300-500 words. Posts will NOT be rejected if they are longer but may be shared in parts.
• If you have images included in your submission you must be the owner, they must be royalty free, public domain, or used in accordance with their license. If no images are submitted, we will add images to make the post pop!
• We agree not to edit submissions except for small and obvious typos, spelling errors, format, etc. If I have any concerns about any part of the submission we will discuss them with you by email prior to publication.
• You must be familiar with or open to learning the WordPress.com format if you wish to be added as an official contributor because you will be required to upload your own content. As a WordPress user you can create a profile that will link to your website and other social media sites that will appear at the top of each of your posts. You will, of course, receive full credit for your work and maintain all copyrights.
• Contributions that are self promoting are not accepted, but you can include links to your website or social media pages in your byline.

Please send all stories as Word attachments to: askdangerouslee@hotmail.com with the words “I want to be published!” in the subject line. If you have images to accompany your article please attach them to your email. Include your byline at the end of your article with your name, contact information and a brief bio. We read all submissions and will contact you within five business days if we are going to publish your article. No follow up emails are necessary.
