Dangerous Words Movie Review: Hanna Posted on September 19, 2011December 16, 2020 When viewing the trailer for this film, I was not impressed and had no desire to see it. My thought was; so what, another female assassin flick. Big deal! I was also weary because her name is “Hanna“. All I could think about what Hannah Montana! However, Hanna does have… Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)MoreClick to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) Read More
Dangerous Words Movie Review: Thor Posted on November 7, 2011December 17, 2020 I didn’t really dig this film at all, and I knew I wouldn’t. I think I became disinterested when I realized at the very beginning that this movie was going to take place in two different realms. For me, this made things very corny, especially when people from the Asgard… Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)MoreClick to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) Read More
Dangerous Words My Momma is More Dangerous Than Your Momma Posted on May 8, 2011April 13, 2018 HIGHLIGHTS: My mother grew up as the only girl with three brothers and raised me alone with the help of her parents. As an older adult she suffered a mild stroke, took care of her sick mother… Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)MoreClick to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) Read More
How do you know? Being “mixed” does not mean they aren’t Black. All shades should be appreciated regardless.
Amen to that! “Race” is just a social construct anyhow. The thoughts and attitudes surrounding “race” ideology will change and be MUCH different in the future. (sometimes I regret being born during this era) Melanin is good for the skin and all shades of brown are lovely. (some of us, like myself, are melanin deficient, but recognize beauty when we see it) I strongly believe that people will eventually stop separating us by using words like “white” and “black” and “yellow” as though we’re different species and just realize there are variations of melanin. And some of us [like me] might be a bit deficient/lacking. The women above are incredibly beautiful. Stunning even. Beauty is in FACT entirely dependent upon the perspective of the viewer. Myself, I’ve always been attracted to Asian men and, from my perspective, have noted that countless “black” women I’ve seen are the most beautiful women I’ve ever laid eyes upon. I mean… Kate Tachie-Menson? Jesus. She almost turns me gay. You’re gorgeous, Leigh! I love your work! <3
