I’m a Loner…So What! Posted on November 17, 2011April 13, 2018 By Dangerous Lee lon·er [loh-ner] noun A person who is or prefers to be alone, especially one who avoids the company of others: He was always a loner—no one knew him well. I’m a Loner…So What! I’m not sure that I avoid the company of others, but I am comfortable being in my own skin and spending quality time alone. I am an only child and I’m sure that has a lot to do with my attitude, but I also find that by being a loner I avoid other peoples drama and I also avoid getting caught up in gossip. Yes, I do get lonely, but I work through those feelings or I make plans to spend time with people that I like. Quite frankly, I am used to being alone. I have been single for many many many many (yes that long) years and to be honest being around lots of people gets on my nerves because I like to sit back, chill, and watch rather than be the life of the party. People are often surprised to see me at events and some people even have the nerve to get upset that I don’t attend certain events. I simply don’t find it necessary to be everywhere all the time and I actually like being an enigma. After all, if you start seeing me everywhere you might get sick of me, but never fear I plan to make a few more public appearances in 2012. Wow. This needs to be updated. I am officially and anti-social introvert. More to come. About Author Dangerous Lee administrator Content Creator and Everythang in Chief of Dangerous Lee Publishing. Dangerous Words Movie Review: Hanna Posted on September 19, 2011December 16, 2020 When viewing the trailer for this film, I was not impressed and had no desire to see it. I’m really, really introverted and I’ve always loved being an introvert! I enjoy my alone time much more than I would ever enjoy anyone else’ company.
Even though I have a sibling, I feel exactly the same way. I have devised a solitary lifestyle, with just my thoughts to accompany me. It was great reading this. I’ll be back for more 🙂
We “only” children learn to be alone, and I think we learn to be comfortable by ourselves. We devise solitary ways to entertain ourselves, unlike people who are reared with siblings. Not being a party to gossip is a real benefit. Gossip can be desperately destructive. I’ve loved my little trip around your world. I’ll be returning again, soon. Thanks.
