Justin Timberlake – 901 Tequila

Apart from his charm, his incredible dance moves, and his talent, something that you probably didn’t know about Justin Timberlake is that he is also has his own tequila brand known as 901! This name comes in part from the area code of his hometown of Memphis. He co-founded the brand in 2009 and since then he has recently introduced two new additions as of August 2013 – 901 Reposado made from 100% Blue Weber agave from Jalisco, and 901 Anejo made with notes of pepper, nuts, coffee, and roasted oak. The two additions joined the existing 901 Silver label that was launched in 2009. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave and triple distilled for a smooth, clean product, 901 is produced near Guadalajara, Jalisco in the heart of tequila country.

Drew Barrymore – Barrymore Wines Collection

Apart from entertaining us with her terrific acting skills, Drew Barrymore apparently also decided to come up with her own wine brand – Barrymore Wines Collection! It is said that she created this wine brand in honor of her family legacy. Her travel experiences throughout Italy inspired her to create a Pinot Grigio, which is her first offering, wine that she could enjoy with her family and friends. Barrymore Pinot Grigio is an IGT Delle Venezie, made from grapes grown in the Triveneto area, comprising of three of Italy’s northern parts: Friulli Venezia Giulia, Trentino Alto Adige, and Veneto – regions renowned for coming up with crispy, fruity white wines. The Barrymore Wines Collection was launched by Drew Barrymore in April 2012.

Dan Aykroyd – Crystal Head Vodka

The famous comedian from Canada, Dan Aykroyd, is the co-founder of Crystal Head Vodka. As far as the name goes, Crystal Head Vodka is named after the legend of the 13 crystal skeletal heads, and apparently those who possess them are given spiritual power. Just like the history behind the name, even the distillation process of this vodka is pretty epic. Water from Newfoundland, Canada, is blended with peaches and cream corn powder, and is distilled four times to preserves the natural taste. The vodka is even believed to be distilled and filtered several times, with the final three filtrations done through Herkimer diamonds. What’s more, the bottle looks classy too shaped in the form of a human skull – interesting!

Marilyn Manson – Mansinthe

If Marilyn Manson comes up with his own alcohol brand, yes, it’s got to be Absinthe! So yes, Marilyn Manson decided to follow this very “in” celebrity trend of creating alcohol brands, and went on to launch his own brand of absinthe beverage in 2007. The brand, known as Mansinthe, is now available worldwide. Produced in Switzerland, the drink is distilled from neutral grain alcohol and herbs, naturally retaining the green color. Even the label of the bottle is pretty interesting, featuring an original water color illustration by Manson himself.

Willie Nelson – Old Whiskey River Bourbon

All you Willie Nelson fans out there, here’s what you could do while listening to your favorite Willie Nelson song – enjoy a peg of Old Whiskey River Bourbon – a whiskey brand belonging to the legend himself! Yes, being a fan, you guessed it right – the whiskey is named after Nelson’s hit song during the late 1970s “Old Whiskey River”. This whiskey is essentially an 86-proof small batch bourbon that is aged for six years in oak barrels. What’s more, each bottle of Old Whiskey River Bourbon comes with a Willie Nelson CD and a guitar pick – sweet!

Yao Ming – Yao Family Wines

Retired NBA player Yao Ming announced the debut of Yao Family Wines at Napa Valley, California, in November 2011, following its launch in mainland China. Ming gave credit to American culture for developing his taste for fine wines. He launched the Californian winery which was geared exclusively for the Chinese market and was called Yao Family Wines. The Yao Family Wines sources its fruit from established Napa Valley vineyards, and the wines are aged exclusively in 100% French Oak barrels for up to 18 months to 24 months.
