There are many foods for example that are much healthier and packed with energy that you can nibble on throughout the day in order to keep your energy levels up. So here are a few of the foods you should check out if you are thinking about toning it down on the caffeine:

Apples:
Apples make for a great snack almost any time of the day and they’re easy to carry around with you or keep in the office. Now Apples can provide a good boost in energy to your day thanks to them being a natural source of sugar and containing a fair amount of nutrients and fiber. In fact because of what they contain they can also make you feel happier.

Almonds:
If your doctor hasn’t already mentioned it – a handful of Almonds provide what we call “good fat” which is brilliant for your health in general, and also excellent for providing you with natural energy. So if you find yourself lacking a bit of energy a handful of Almonds is all you need to get your levels back up to normal. Perhaps keep a small packet of them in your desk draw or handbag just in case.

Carrots:
So carrots are not only good for diets and eyesight, but are also a great way to pick yourself up with some natural energy during the day. Carrots contain a good amount of nutrients and are loaded with beta carotene and Vitamins A and C. This means that carrots can help you feel better overall and not just energy wise.

Red Bell Pepper:
The colour tells you already that a Red Bell Pepper is a healthy and nutritious food. Red Bell Peppers contain high levels of Vitamin C which is needed for essential functions throughout the body, in turn providing you with more natural energy to help you through your day.

Salmon:
A little harder to carry around with you, but great for when you are at home or out to eat and have a busy day ahead. Not only are the health benefits of salmon almost endless, due to the high concentration of Omega-3 fatty acids that it contains, but eating salmon helps rebuild cells and maintain a healthy look. Let’s not forget that it also acts as a great source of protein which can help you get energized and ready for the day.
