Infographic: Everything You Need To Know About Your Chakras

By possessing a better understanding of chakra, people can develop a better understanding of who they are and ways in which they can lead a healthier life. When most people think of healthier living, immediately thoughts of weight loss, dieting, and organic homegrown food come to mind.

While these are all desirable, they in some way eclipse the bigger picture – better decision making through empowerment; not only empowering one’s self-esteem, but more importantly – empowering one’s chakra channels through meditation, guided visualizations, breathing exercises, herbal treatments, and physical activity. By being in tune to the desires of one’s soul and having one’s chakra channels in sync, a person can achieve peace of mind, and the clarity needed to manage the stresses of everyday life.

Ayurvedic (“life knowledge”) medicine and yoga healing practices incorporate this philosophy in cleansing the body of negative energies and facilitating the upward flow of positive energies to harmonize the body and mind. With a harmonized body and mind, ideas begin to resonate with crystal clarity. As a result, we undergo a spiritual awakening of sorts that frees us from our material attachments and brings us closer to recognizing the workings of a higher power.
