How To Make Your Hair Glow In The Dark

When you were younger you might have dreamt of being invisible or having the ability to fly, but for some of us all we’ve ever wanted to do is to stand out from the crowd a little bit, and what better way to do that than to glow in the dark? While you might not want to accidentally attract planes to land in your front garden, you may want to make a great impression at a party or in a club, and there’s only one thing you need in order to achieve it!

It’s Not Divine Intervention, It’s Simply Hair Dye

If you’re one of these people who can’t stay out of the spotlight, you don’t need to look to the Glow In The Dark Hair Dyeheavens to make you glow in the dark, nor do you need to wait for The Hulk to donate some of his superhero powers. All you need to do is get your hands on some hair dye which glows under black light, and believe me when I say there is plenty of it out there if you know where to look!

Beware though, learning to glow in the dark isn’t for the faint hearted. With it comes a responsibility to look awesome wherever you go, as these crazy colors that allow you to glow so brightly are often massively bright in daylight too. One of the biggest hair dye brands when it comes to giving you a real glow is Manic Panic, with four of their most popular colors from their Amplified range containing glow in the dark properties: Cotton Candy Pink, Hot Hot Pink, Neon Electric Lizard (known as green to me and you) and Wildfire Red.

Why Could You Possibly Want To Glow In The Dark?

To the uninitiated, it might seem a strange desire to want to glow in the dark. To try to understand, simply think about the last time you wanted to look amazing. Perhaps you went out and bought a new dress (or a new suit if you’re a man), which you thought would make you look sexy and ensure that nobody could keep their eyes off you. The same theory applies to wanting to glow in the dark, and because it’s generally much cheaper to buy some glow in the dark hair dye than it is to buy a new outfit, you’ll see it makes a lot of sense if you think about it!

No matter what color you fancy, the brand to check out if you want glow in the dark hair is undoubtedly Manic Panic, simply look out for their bottles marked with ‘glows under black light’, and you’ll be lighting up even the darkest room in no time at all.

Laura Watson loves all aspects of alternative fashion and is particularly nuts about whacky colored hair dye.
