Thanksgiving and Christmas are nearly here. So, let’s make this holiday a special one for friends, family, colleagues and loved ones by sharing with them the best Christmas albums of all time.
This list includes all the Christmas greats. Mix and mingle the soulful sounds of Michael Bublé with pop sensation Justin Bieber for a little holiday fun. And don’t for get to play Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas” is You at least a couple hundred times.
Lady Antebellum
One of the hottest country groups around today, Lady Antebellum released twelve traditional Christmas songs for the holiday season on their album titled On This Winter’s Night. Stand out tracks include “Have A Holly Jolly Christmas,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “Silent Night.” This beautiful collection will make great background music for Christmas Eve gatherings and holiday parties.
Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber’s Christmas album Under the Mistletoe is nothing short of holiday perfection. With a seasonal mix of traditional Christmas classics and newly penned holiday music, this soundtrack is largely co-written by the Biebs himself. Knockout songs includes duets from Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men and Usher. Under the Mistletoe is great as holiday party music—for tweens and up.
Michael Bublé
The multi Grammy Award winning artist, Michael Bublé presents Christmas, which is a soulful compilation of all the Christmas greats including “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” “Jingle Bells” and “White Christmas.” Bublé also adds his signature touch to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You.” There’s nothing like roasting chestnuts by an open fire while listening to the velvety voice of Michael Bublé.
Amy Grant
Amy Grant’s A Christmas album is not only one of the best albums of her career, but is easily one of the best contemporary Christmas collections available today. With six Grammys, a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame and numerous other accolades, Amy’s album is nothing short of amazing. Her Christian beliefs have been incorporated in her music for years but this album is absolutely divine.
Glee Soundtrack
Not everyone can be a Gleek. However, Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album includes hits from past and the present in an upbeat holiday compilation. Fan favorites of the album include “We Need a Little Christmas,” “O Holy Night” and “Jingle Bells.” The talented cast of Glee really decks the halls and puts you in the holiday spirit with this one.
Mariah Carey
My personal favorite, Mariah Carey released her Merry Christmas album back in 1994. Her multi-octave vocal range works very nicely in the context of this charming holiday collection. Songs from this album include “Silent Night,” “Joy to the World” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.” Of course, it includes her legendary hit “All I Want for Christmas is You.” Listen to Mariah’s classic collection while decorating your Christmas tree or enjoying a glass of eggnog with your loved one.
