Starting off the countdown we have actor Will Ferrell in the movie Casa De Mi Padre. This is a classic Ferrell movie in which takes places in Mexico, and yes, Ferrell does speak a little spanish. This movie is about Ferrell going through many hilarious stunts to save his Padre’s ranch. Ferrell is a hit, as he always is, in Casa De Mi Padre.
9. That’s My Boy
Taking the number 9 spot on my list is That’s My Boy starring Adam Sandler and Andy Sandberg. This movie portrays a father (Sandler) moving back in with his son (Samberg) who is soon to be married. The characters clash during the movie through various comedic acts and can be classified as a classic Sandler movie.
8. The Dictator
Funny man Sasha Baron Cohen stars in the number eight spot, The Dictator. Cohen is known for his role in Borat and is back at it again. In a crude humor Cohen illustrates a Dictator from a foreign country and comes to America. Definitely worth a view, Cohen does not disappoint in this delightful movie.
7. The Five-Year Engagement
Taking the number seven spot in my countdown is The Five-Year Engagement staring Jason Segal and Emily Blunt. This romantic comedy follows a couple who is soon to get married, but through several disappointments must put their wedding plans on hold for 5 years. These minor inconveniences are hilarious and this is a must see for romantic comedy fans.
6. Think Like A Man
In my number 6 spot Think Like a Man is truly hilarious. This follows several couples in search of find there true love. The movie is split between the men and the women thoughts on a relationship book by Steve Harvey. Both sides interpret the book differently in the exciting comedy.
5. Wanderlust
In the movie Wanderlust a couple played by Paul Rudd and Jenifer Aniston leave New York after Rudd is laid off and venture into the wild. They join a community in which you are free to be yourself, with no rules. With a cast of colorful characters the movie is enjoyable and is definitely worth a viewing.

Staring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum 21 Jump Street is a classic. An all-around funny movie, Hill and Tatum play the roles of undercover cops in a high school hoping to uncover a drug lord. This movie will leave you on the edge of your seat and will have you laughing for hours. The chemistry between Hill and Tatum is quite simply amazing.
1. Ted
Taking the number 1 spot and claiming the title as the funniest movie of 2012 thus far is Ted. From the creator of Family Guy, Seth McFarlane directs this hilarious movie. Starring Mark Walhberg the movie follows the story of a man and his stuffed bear that, thanks to a wish, came to life (voiced by McFarlane). The antics and vulgarity of this bear is hysterical, Walhberg and the bear are a great duo. The movie is without a doubt one of the best comedy movies of the year as it made 54.1 million in its debut weekend.
