Alexander McQueen, who tragically passed away in February 2010, has been quite the hot topic in the media lately what with Lady Gaga allegedly purchasing the most expensive of his gowns and his exhibition of clothing dubbed Savage Beauty at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Alexander McQueen’s designs formed part of an elite fashion offering at Christie’s which also included items from Daphine Guinness. The sale of the fashion items on auction broke world records for selling at £467,800.
