Climbing stairs have always been advocated by fitness guru because it is a good way to increase your fitness level. However, oftentimes this is taken for granted because people are always in a hurry. Either rushing for a meeting or late for work already thus the easiest option is to use elevators and escalators.

There are actually long lasting health benefits in climbing stairs. The only challenge is here is how to start it and the time to continue doing it. Like any other goals in life, it is the start phase the makes or breaks your goal. So just start slowly and do not be overwhelmed with your motivation. As for the time, try to make it a habit to come early to your office so you will have time to climb the stairs. Let us say your office start at eight in the morning, try to reach at seven thirty or even earlier. The temptation to use the elevator is less because you are not in the rush.

Also, it shapes and strengthens the most common areas of our body that we want to tone like tights, stomach, buttocks, and calves. Just imagine if you are climbing stairs everyday on your way to work. Imagine the impact to your tights, tummy and buttocks.

If you are tired of trying different weight loss fads, then try climbing stairs. It is a good way to manage your weight especially if you are an office worker.
