I don’t like to spend time on my hair. I personally would much rather sleep in, but I do want to look cute, even on weekdays. I think you should have both! Lots of girls forget that there are some quick hairstyles that basically do themselves.
Let your bed style your hair for you. Braids and curlers are an excellent way to make your morning quick. There is a reason why braids have been around for hundreds of years. This is because they are a good idea. Take a shower, braid your hair, sleep, and in the morning your only tasks are to take out the braids and add volume.
Curlers are another great option. When purchasing overnight curlers, think about the length of your hair. If your hair is short, then the smaller the better, but if your hair is long, be sure to get bigger curlers. The small ones make it more difficult for long hair to dry by morning.
When you are on the run, and you just took a shower, a good idea is to put moose in your hair. This is a great fall back, but adds a natural wavy look. Not all hair will hold the curl, but most will.
4. Kinky twist your hair
A popular style among ethic people is the kinky twist. This is used to keep unmanageably curly hair in order, but can also be used to curl your hair. The way you do it is you get two strands of hair, twist both individual strands the same direction (ex. clockwise) then you wrap them around each other going the other direction (ex. counter clockwise). If this is done to your hair while it is wet, then your hair will be curly when they are taken out. Use larger pieces of hair for larger curls and smaller ones for smaller curls. Each will have a somewhat ethnic look to them when you take them out leaving all of your friends wondering how you did your hair.
Don’t spend hours on your hair unless there is a reason to. Your hair can still be great, even if you don’t have a lot of time to spend on it. There are other options, and with some practice, you will have a variety of options to pull out when you are short on time.
