Marc Acito is author of the award-winning comic novel How I Paid for College as well as its sequel, Attack of the Theater People, and a regular commentator on NPR’s All Things Considered.

In December of 2007, Acito committed to doing one new thing a day, every day, for an entire year. He completed that on December 28.

Some of the things he did included canoeing in an 800-lb. pumpkin, learning to eat fire, and learning to open a beer bottle with a water bottle.

You can read all about it on his blog and hear all about on this week’s show.
